Faith-integrated counseling for North Carolina adults.
Some clients want a counselor who can hold both their faith and their pain without asking them to choose. Richard's early work included church-based and pastoral counseling, and he holds a Diploma in Christian Counseling from Richmond Graduate School. Prayer and scripture can be part of sessions when that feels grounding, and are never assumed.
Clients who come without a faith background, or with hurt connected to a church, are just as welcome. The clinical work is the same evidence-based, trauma-informed care, including EMDR, delivered in weekly 50-minute online sessions.
Richard Forde Counseling is a self-pay practice. New clients are accepted on a self-pay basis only, at $145 per 50-minute session. Here is why I choose a private-pay practice.
